Dr Guy Burnett

Dr Guy Burnett is one of the founding partners of ONiA and brings over four decades of specialist orthodontic experience. He earned his orthodontic qualification at the University of Adelaide in 1979 and has since played a leading role in shaping orthodontic care in South Australia. He is a former two-term President of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (SA Branch) and currently serves as a Clinical Tutor for postgraduate orthodontic students at the University of Adelaide – a role he has held for more than 30 years.

Dr Burnett has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally, with a special interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea using orthodontic appliances. He is known for his gentle, patient-focused approach and his ability to develop long-term, trusting relationships with patients and families.

Dr Eden Lau

Dr Eden Lau is a senior partner at ONiA and one of Adelaide’s most respected and extensively qualified orthodontists. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr Lau is known for his precision, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in both patient care and academic contribution.

He holds multiple postgraduate qualifications from the University of Adelaide and prestigious fellowships and memberships from respected institutions such as the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Lau is a passionate educator and has held key academic positions at the University of Adelaide, including Clinical Tutor, Unit Coordinator, and Examiner. He has also served for over 10 years as a Visiting Senior Specialist Orthodontic Consultant at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. His research has been published in the Australian Orthodontic Journal and he remains actively involved in mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.

Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Dr Lau ensures patients from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed and well understood.

Dr James Moses

Dr James Moses is a skilled and compassionate orthodontist who brings a wealth of diverse experience to ONiA. A graduate of the University of Sydney, Dr Moses began his dental career in the Australian Defence Force, where he served with distinction as a Dental Officer. Following his military service, he practiced in Western Australia, gaining valuable experience in aesthetic and paediatric dentistry in a busy regional practice.

Dr Moses later completed his specialist orthodontic training at the University of Adelaide and achieved Membership in Orthodontics with both the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He is actively involved in continuing education and has presented his research at international forums including the World Federation of Orthodontists Congress in Sydney.

Dr Moses has a calm and friendly chairside manner, making him particularly popular with younger patients and families.
