Tamara has been working in the dental industry for 24 years, starting work as a dental assistant before studying an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health.
Apps and technologies have evolved but they cannot emulate human emotion and empathy. Orthodontics is a complex medical and dental procedure, it is vital to develop a professional relationship with the underlying foundation of trust. Orthodontists see their patients as people not as customers and develop personalised treatment plans with this in mind.
ONiA are proud to announce that we have once again been awarded full accreditation to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards for private Dental Practice for all nine locations. Achieving Accreditation takes dedication, team work, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
100% of orthodontists are dentists, but only 3% of dentists are orthodontists. They share many similarities but work in very different ways. Dentists cover a broad range of oral health issues whereas orthodontics is a specialised area of dentistry that focuses on issues such as straightening teeth and correcting bite patterns.
Good news! We are now up and running and able to attend to all your orthodontic needs.
Following the latest advice from government and health authorities, our practice will now be reopening for patients on Monday 27th April 2020.
The Australian Society of Orthodontist has just release a handy guide on how to handle some common orthodontic issues at home.
